This family of products combines two of 3M's premier
technologies: Cubitron™ mineral and Xodust™
dust control technology. These purple belts are coated
with Cubitron™ ceramic aluminium oxide mineral,
simply the best you can get. This abrasive grain is
the result of more than 15 years of extensive research
and process development.
3M's™ Purple belts feature the highly effective
Xodust™ dust control treatment. Less dust in the
air not only creates a safer environment for the operator,
but it also ensures cleaner panels and reduces subsequent
clean-up prior to finish or lamination. Machinery runs
better when it's free from dust and requires less maintenance.
Purple belts will run longer with less dust adhering
to the abrasive surface when used with an efficient
dust collecting system. Loading or clogging is minimised
and the abrasive continues to cut cleanly and efficiently.
