Tru-Cut Flap wheels to fit the Rotosat machine are suitable for graining or quickly removing surface blemishes and scratches.

Tru-Cut Interleaf Flap wheels offer a softer cutting action than normal flap wheels. This product still cuts and removes scratches but promotes a matt finish due to the inclusion of non-woven material mixed alternately with the cloth abrasive.

Tru-Cut Flap non woven wheels are designed to provide a brushed finish on all metals and are suitable for some composites. This product type does not normally remove material but simply provides a better surface finish. Non woven wheels also reduce the risk of contamination (tea staining) on stainless steel surfaces normally associated with conventional belt or disc sanding.

Tru-Cut Polishing buffs are available on firm order from Europe. This product provides a fast method of polishing to a high reflective finish.

Rotosat machines can be converted for use in Regraining tube such as in pre-installed handrails. Normally it is difficult to belt sand handrail grain radially due to post interference. By fitting a polyurethane collar to the shaft of the Rotosat machine, the abrasive belt can be cut and rejoined abrasive side down and run over the poly collar and rail simultaneously. This allows the handrail to be restored with a radial grain or satin finish.

The Rotosmart attachment fits directly onto the Rotosat tool. The kit comes complete with a range of sample unitised wheels in 150mm diameter in three widths 3mm, 6mm and 12mm. This tool has been developed to allow surface blending of weld seams in difficult to finish areas, such as the weld areas on posts joining onto hand rails or the weld seams on boat rails.

The Rotosmart is very easy to handle due to its in-line design and the range of applications is only limited by your imagination. The unitised wheels are able to be profiled to create a radius at their cutting edge which allows better blending at the point of contact. Continued use on radiused areas maintains the shape of the wheel and therefore continued dressing is not required.
