Our custom made range
of spiral bands cover a huge size spectrum.
We manufacture in grades P36 up to fine polishing grades
such as P400. As well as this grit range we offer a vast
range of abrasive types such as Aluminium Oxide, Top Coat
Zirconia and Silicon Carbide.
Top Coat spiral bands are made from Zirconia abrasive
mineral with a special grinding aid. Top coat bands are
the best option for grinding all metals (in particular
stainless steel) offering cooler cutting and longer life. |
Spiral
band mandrels - Screw type

This type of mandrel
allows you to slide the spiral band on and then tighten
the centre screw to lock the band in place. |

Spiral band mandrels
- Slotted expansion type
 |
The expanding mandrel
has the spiral band pushed on and grips the band as it
expands under rotation. This type of band is normally
in metric size compared to imperial for the screw type. |
Spiral band mandrels
- True Cut Expanding drum
 |
The Tru-Cut expanding
drum uses a 4" x 1" spiral band. It is ideal
for attaching to a straight type polishing machine or
a right angle unit. Cutting and finishing are made easy
and the cut area is reduced to only 25mm in width. |
